The SCS - Setting Control System

The SCS is the world's first electronic hand-held gap measuring and calibration device for stone crushers (cone crushers, gyratory crushers, jaw crushers). It is characterized by simple operation and safe handling (observe safety instructions).

Damage to the crushing tools can be prevented at an early stage through regular use and observing the current smallest gap. Gap measurement is also possible for cone crushers with a fast rotating cone (without head brake). The SCS4 has a very large measuring range thanks to graduated sensors from 6 to 255 mm. The measurement uncertainty is ± 0.25 mm.

The measurement takes place directly in the crushing chamber with a running, empty crusher (simulated stone). Accurate values are also possible with worn tools (change in crushing chamber geometry).

The crusher is calibrated to the optimum crushing gap and kept there by regular measurements, the following major advantages results:
- minimization of wear and tear
- increase in throughput
- significant energy savings
